We should remember the Shahaba Abdur-Rahman Ibn Awf (ra):
He was one of the first eight persons to accept Islam. He was one of the ten persons (al-asharatu-l mubashshirin) who were assured of entering Paradise. He knew what his purpose in life was and adhered to Islam in the good times and bad times and never did he let his wealth distract him from carrying the dawah in fact his wealth aided the dawah on many a occasion....
